International Forum on Textile Science&Engineering

Invitation

International Forum on Textile Science & Engineering for Doctoral Candidates will be held from November 3 to 6, 2006 in DonghuaUniversity, Shanghai, China. The forum is sponsored by the Academic Degrees Commission of the State Council and the Academic Degrees Administration and Graduate Education Department of Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

With the theme of “Modern Textiles, Green Textiles”, the Forum seeks to broaden the horizons, activate the thoughts and encourage innovation for all participants. It will promote the internationalization of graduate education, which will strengthen the foundation for qualified personnel to implement invigorating strategies in science, technology and education.

The Forum will arrive in the golden autumn of Shanghai. Professors and Doctoral candidates will congregate at DonghuaUniversity. All present will appreciate the boundless charm of textiles, explore the advanced textile technology, and enjoy the glamour and diversity of Shanghai. We deeply believe that the Forum will be an impressive gathering for academia, and cordially welcomehonored guests, experts, professors and Doctoral candidates to attend the Forum.

Renowned experts and professors will be participating as academic consultants and lecturing on textile study and relevant frontier issues. Representatives of Doctoral candidates will make academic presentations concerning various related topics. The Forum will launch out a paper competition. Final selected papers will be published in Journal of Donghua University (EI index) or recommended to Textile Research Journal (SCI Index).
